Leading provider of intelligent asset and key management systems Landwell Africa is proud to announce its participation at Securex 2025, where it will unveil a new wave of advanced physical security technologies designed to meet the growing needs of modern organisations across Southern Africa.

As digital threats continue to dominate headlines, Landwell Africa is reinforcing the indispensable role of physical security in today’s integrated safety landscape.

“Cybersecurity may be top-of-mind, but without securing physical access to critical infrastructure, digital protection is only part of the equation,” Landwell Africa Director and Group CE Sicelo Xulu told Engineering News at Securex 2025 at Gallagher Convention Centre, in Midrand. “Our solutions ensure that physical and cyber layers work in unison to protect our clients’ most valuable assets.”

At Securex 2025, Landwell Africa is showcasing:
• Biometric-enabled key cabinets and smart lockers, featuring palm vein and facial recognition access.
• Real-time cloud-based monitoring and control software that enables multi-site visibility and instant reporting.
• Custom API integration capabilities for seamless deployment into diverse enterprise environments.

These innovations are tailored for high-security, high-compliance sectors such as mining, healthcare, logistics, petroleum and gaming, many of which face increased regulatory and operational challenges.

Solving Sector Specific Challenges

From eliminating unauthorised access to automating asset audits, Landwell’s solutions tackle long-standing security bottlenecks.

“Deployments like our smart key system at Ekapa Mine or the vehicle key control at Halfway Group show how we reduce risks while improving operational efficiency,” said Xulu. “These are real-world examples of how digital transformation can start with physical control.”

Integrated Safety Across Sectors

With Securex 2025 co-located alongside A-OSH EXPO, Facilities Management Expo and Firexpo, Landwell Africa is emphasising how its products support cross-sector safety and risk management. Their systems are equipped for lockout/tagout (LOTO) compliance, contractor access control, and facility-wide integration, delivering peace of mind across industrial, healthcare and institutional environments.

“Being at Securex isn’t just about showcasing technology; it’s about building relationships,” said Xulu. “Face-to-face interactions allow us to understand our clients' unique challenges, demonstrate our commitment and co-create secure environments that last.”
