Julie Berg will succeed Morten Henriksen as Group CEO of renewable-energy company Mainstream Renewable Power from January 2026.

Henriksen this week announced his decision to step down from his role as CEO to pursue other opportunities.

Berg joined Mainstream in 2024 as CFO and has led the strategic transformation of the company, including the move of the company's headquarters from Dublin, Ireland, to Oslo, Norway, this year.

Prior to joining the company, she held the position of CFO in Aker Carbon Capture (today SLB Capturi) and before that as partner in KPMG.

"Julie is a distinguished leader with international experience across many sectors. [Her] in-depth knowledge of Mainstream, the sector and the opportunities and challenges faced by the industry mean she will hit the ground running, completing the optimisation programme and driving future growth."

Mainstream owns wind and solar assets in Chile and South Africa.
