Nampak to report turnaround in headline earnings a share

JSE-listed packaging manufacturer Nampak expects to report headline earnings a share from continuing operations of R31 to R35 for the financial year ended September 30, compared with the headline loss a share of R390.04 reported for the prior financial year.

Earnings a share from continuing operations are expected to be between R73 and R77, compared with a loss a share of R644.16 reported for the prior financial year.

During the year, the group has classified various assets as held for sale and discontinued in keeping with its asset disposal programme that started in August 2023.

The company will publish its results on December 2.
