Renewable-energy company Scatec Group has reached an all-time-high near-term growth portfolio, with various projects rapidly achieving development milestones.

Scatec reported total power production of 1.01 GWh and earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (Ebitda) of NKr842-million in the fourth quarter of the year for its power production segment, mostly owing to divestments.

This compares with Ebitda of NKr955-million in the third quarter for the power production segment.

Scatec’s construction and development segment generated Ebitda of NKr251-million in the fourth quarter, compared with Ebitda of NKr135-million in the third quarter of the year. For the full year, this segment generated Ebitda of NKr462-million, compared with NKr184-million in the prior year.

About NKr1.8-billion worth of projects are currently under construction, which marks a record for the company. Scatec holds a maturing pipeline of 8 GW which will ensure continued long-term growth.

During the fourth quarter, Scatec added four projects to its pipeline totalling 2.1 GW across Egypt, the Philippines and Tunisia.

The company currently has six solar and battery storage projects under construction.

For the full year ended December 31, 2025, Scatec generated Ebitda of NKr4.2-billion, compared with Ebitda of NKr4.6-billion in the prior year. The company also reported a net profit of NKr1.05-billion in the reporting year.

Scatec was recently awarded a 68 MW floating solar project through a public auction in the Philippines and reached commercial operation date for the Grootfontein and Mmadinare solar power plants in South Africa and Botswana, respectively.

In Egypt, Scatec has signed two equity partners for its Obelisk project, with construction on site continuing at a record pace. The project involves a hybrid solar and battery storage project – 1.1 GW of solar and 100 MW of battery storage.

In Oslo, Scatec repaid a corporate term loan with proceeds from a new bond issue, which further extends the maturity profile of the loan.

The company says it is well positioned to capitalise on more opportunities this year and scale up its impact on the global transition to renewable energy.

Scatec has NKr5.6-billion of cash and cash equivalents on hand.

Scatec aims to have proportionate power production of between 5.2 TWh and 5.6 TWh this year and reach Ebitda of between NKr3.8-billion and NKr4.1-billion in its power production segment.
