Total Heating Solutions
Established in 2001, Total Heating Solutions (THS) is the largest distributor of industrial heat treatment equipment in Southern Africa, with growing sales in new product ranges of electrical heat tracing, corrosion monitoring and control, torque wrenches, filters and strainers.
The addition of the corrosion monitoring product range brings new technologies for “online real time” corrosion and erosion monitoring to the oil, gas, petrochemical, water and mining industries ensuring plant safety, integrity and statutory compliance. Rohrback Cosasco Systems product range has been at the forefront of all internal corrosion monitoring developments worldwide since 1950 when they first pioneered the Cosasco Access under pressure systems. New Microcor real time corrosion monitoring provides accurate fast data to optimise chemical inhibition programmes and make informed decisions on equipment’s remaining life and plant integrity. Now with the introduction of wireless systems that significantly reduce installed costs for the equipment on new plant and for retrofit to older plant. Applications include pipelines, platforms, power generation, water treatment, mining and petrochemical plants.
The company, which has a total site area of 370 m², has an office in Prospecton, Durban and also recently added an office in Cape Town. THS is wholly owned by Gavin Cockin and has a turnover of R23.5-million, with an order book to the value of R4-million.
