CRITICAL DIVERSIFICATION: Exxaro Resources, which is best known for coal mining, has joined the International Manganese Institute, signalling its diversification into the critical mineral. The move followed Exxaro’s recent signing of binding agreements to acquire shares and claims in manganese assets held by Ntsimbintle Holdings and OM Holdings for R11.67-billion.
