Schneider Electric South Africa has launched its new Power Up Mzansi campaign, aimed at empowering electricians and contractors by giving them the ability to achieve more with the company’s products.
Neroshnee Marimuthu, Head of Channel Marketing at Schneider Electric South Africa, explains that the campaign is tailored to the distribution channel, aiming to support the company's partners and customers in maximising product sales and strengthening the brand's presence in the market.
“The Power Up Mzansi campaign is aimed at rewarding our customers with guaranteed rewards for those who purchase electrical products on promotion – it is not a competition and there is no luck involved,” she says.
Rewards guaranteed
For purchasing a product to the value of R1 000, customers will receive a R50 voucher, if they buy products for R2 000, they will receive a R100 voucher and a purchase of R5 000 will earn them a R350 voucher. Customers have the flexibility to select vouchers from a variety of vendors, allowing them to be rewarded according to their preferences
“We will be geo-targeting our customers to focus on specific customer locations for the sake of convenience and to drive traffic to our retailers. Our goal is to empower our partners to boost sales and enhance our brand's reputation while fostering more direct engagement with customers,” adds Marimuthu.
Designed to be simple
Marimuthu highlights that the campaign was crafted with simplicity in mind, and Schneider Electric is focused on ensuring our customers have a smooth and effortless process for redeeming rewards.
“Power Up Mzansi makes a strong statement of reemergence in the market which not only seeks to elevate the brand but also to recognise and engage with our valued customers. It's a wonderful way to reconnect with the local market and reinforce the brand's position.
“Schneider Electric is a global brand with local resonance and the Power Up Mzansi campaign is our way of boosting local relevance. Our purpose is to create impact by empowering all to make the most of our energy and resources, bridging progress and sustainability for all,” says Marimuthu.
